The ETO – ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING OFFICER – STCW III/6 course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary for understanding and performance of duties of competent electrical engineering officers on ships . Content of the course
- Ship’s electrical engineering – 80 hours
- Ship’s automatization – 60 hours
- Ship’s mechanical engineering – 50 hours

Prerequisite
• Certificate of a completed Special training in order to acquire certificates of qualification for an electrical engineering officer (STCW III/6)
• High school education lasting at least 4 years and / or
• Undergraduate university study of electrotechnical directions
• Has at least 6 months of navigable services in the capacity of electrical engineering intern or of the ship’s electrician
• It satisfies prescribed health conditions
Passed programs of training (brevets ):
- D2 – Basic safety on the ship
- D12 –Fire extinguishing management
- D17 – Competence in survival craft and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats
- D19 – Medical first aid
- D47A – Management , management crew and advancement of team work on the ship – working level
- D48 – prevention of marine environment pollution
- ETR – Brodski electrician STCW III/ 7 or Exercise diary

Based on Rulebook on titles and certificates of competence of seafarers (” Official Gazette” no. 130/13, 45/14, 124/158, 72/16, 69/18, 77/18, 85/21 ) , in accordance with the International convention on standards for training , issuing certificate and watchkeeping of seafarers and the STCW Regulations (IMO 1995), and Regulations on boats and yachts (” Official Gazette ” no. 27/2005, 57/2006, 80/2007, 3/2008, 18/2009, 56/2010, 97/2012, 137/2013, 18/2016 , 72/2017). Atlantis Maritime education and training centre performs all the following programs of training seafarers
